Mohammad Shojaei was born in 1964 (1343 SH) into a religious and devout family in the city of Rey where he completed his primary and secondary education. After finishing high school, driven by a strong passion for Islamic sciences, he entered the Islamic seminary and studied for many years under the guidance of the prominent scholar Ayatollah Mojtaba Tehrani. He also continuously benefited from the teachings of distinguished scholars such as Allameh Hassan-zadeh Amoli, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, Ayatollah Ansari Shirazi, Ayatollah Mamdouhi (a student of the late Ayatollah Bahjat), Haj Agha Emami, and the late Mr. Dolabi. Alongside his seminary studies and engagement with eminent teachers of divine knowledge, Professor Mohammad Shojaei pursued academic education at university, earning a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a master’s degree in Quranic Sciences. Through this path, he strengthened the rational foundations of his learning and gradually developed his own distinctive style of expression.
Mohammad Shojaei connects the teachings of Islamic law (Sharia) to everyday life through a thoroughly practical approach. This perspective has drawn people from various walks of life—most of them young—to the innate principles of religion and has encouraged them to adopt an Islamic way of life. This practical approach, rooted in essential discussions of human anthropology, presents a comprehensive understanding of the human dimension of the human being in a clear and accessible language. Such a holistic definition of the human dimension—largely neglected by various human schools of thought—has opened a clear and illuminating path for truth-seeking individuals.
